Starting a new business or managing an organization can be difficult. So many decisions to make, so many forms to create, and finding reliable resources can be challenging. One of the most rewarding aspects of Three Rivers Promotions is brainstorming with clients to help them reach their goals. We have created this page of resources that will be updated frequently to assist you.

Free Professional Advice:

SCORE is an organization that offers free helpful small business planning and advice both online and in person. Both working and retired executives and business owners donate time and expertise as business counselors to help answer your questions. They are associated with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) and can be found here. If you are in the planning stages of opening a business or just need some help, I recommend checking to see if they have a local branch near you. I have attended several of their workshops and find them very helpful.

Creating Effective Invoices:

It is easy to think of an invoice as simply a sheet of paper with a figure at the bottom of it that you expect your customers to pay. But there are a number of easy tips that will result in invoices being paid promptly. Microsoft Word offers a number of free invoice templates that you can add your logo and contact information to and can be found here. Promoting your Website:

Getting visitors to your website is important for any business or organization. One simple and free method of getting your website noticed is to add a signature at the bottom of your emails. An email signature is text your e-mail program automatically places at the end of your e-mail, sort of like a signature at the end of a letter. E-mail signatures are a factor in the success of many websites. If people open and read your e-mail, they're sure to read your signature at the bottom. So include a signature that shamelessly promotes your website. If you are not sure how to set up an e-mail signature, click the Help menu within your e-mail program. Most major e-mail programs are capable of including signatures.

Another proven way to promote your website online is to increase the number of links leading to your site. The links will directly influence traffic to your website as well as increase your search engine rankings.
